But programmers have shown this amazing ability to rise to levels of jerkdom which both quantitatively and qualitatively sets them apart from the average population sometimes I suspect substantially :) But seriously, I suspect it is not relevant to programmers alone, just that the original blog post from Scott Berkun referred to programmers, and I just continued from there. @ArunR,
